An Awesome Responsive WordPress Theme?
If you’re looking for a really attractive and highly converting theme for a website, you’ve found it! Right here is the Max Mag Wordpress theme in action – with a few customizations.
I came across Max Mag through Themeforest.net where there’s a load of themes available for many taste and design requirements. But before I bought it, I’d been recommended it by a colleague who swore that the website she had this theme on was by far her best converting.
Mag Mag – Web Designer’s Dream Theme
Magazine layouts in a theme are nearly always full of plenty of well organized stuff to browse over. I like the way that it’s easy to set your own features layouts via a load of special widgets in the back-end. What’s special about the Max Mag theme is that it’s fully-responsive and retina-ready with complete compatibility with WooCommerce.
With a host of rich features including unlimited color schemes, a “sticky” menu bar, and a slider on each category page, along with 16 custom widgets and 5 different ad units, you can have full control over the styles and layout. Another fabulous feature is a drag-and-drop homepage, imagine that!
There’s no need to create a child theme as your bespoke css is written directly into a Custom CSS field in the Max Mag Options Page. This also gives you options to the ticker and slider control, and the footer and social media inputs.
Magazine Layout Helps to Captivate the Audience
Having a magazine style layout which uses thumbnail images and snippets of text, enhances the visual aspect of a WordPress theme.
Readers are faced with a blogroll page which is organized and easy to navigate. The beauty of Max Mag is that you can display posts and or pages in several different ways through a selection of customized widgets.
Customized Widgets Offer an Array of Views
The 15 custom widgets are available for use in six different widget areas of the theme:
- Homepage Widget Area
- Middle Widget Area
- Category Middle Widget Area
- Sidebar Home Widget Area
- Sidebar Widget Area
- Homepage Bottom Widget Area
- Footer Widget Area
To activate the widgets, it’s just a matter of click and dragging a widget from the Available Widgets box then dropping it into any of the six different custom widget areas.
It doesn’t take long to learn which area is which, and with the help of the “Max Mag” documentation, which has several screenshots of the different ares, you’ll be up and running in no time.
It’s all in the Testimonials!
When you cast an eye over the satisfied comments section on the Max Mag page at ThemeForest, you’ll be amazed at positivity shown – rated 4.53 out of 5 by 375 people, that’s fantastic! Here’s just one of them below:
